I probably shouldn't admit to a fav among my own vids, but I do think, out of all my Pros work, Under Pressure is probably the best match of music and theme. I wanted this vid to be about a day in the life of Bodie and Doyle. It seems to me the only way you make it through some of the situations they face is by leaning on those closest to you. The lads' friendship or love (love, love) allows them to be better people, which then allows them be better to the people around them. The vid builds to the famous scene from Fugitive where a bloodied Bodie runs desperately away from his friends, bomb strapped to his chest, willing to sacrifice himself if it means Doyle and Cowley survive. Doyle pounds after him, every bit as determined to save his partner, even if it means sacrificing his own life in the effort. This is ourselves under pressure. |
