I've always been a fan of vids, dating back to the videotaped ones I used to collect for The X-Files. Though I'd longed to try my hand, I'd never owned a computer that could handle the software. That changed in 2005. At the time I was immersed in the final season of Enterprise, a show I followed largely because of one character, Trip Tucker. To me, he was the heart of the crew, and I was angry and saddened when his character was killed off so needlessly in the series finale. I bought Premiere Elements, and was up and running, leaning helplessly on the shoulder of another Enterprise vidder, Erin, who could not have been more helpful to a newbie. This vid clearly illustrates that I didn't know what I was doing. I have aspect ratio problems and my footage was low-res. But I like the story the vid tells and hope one day to remaster it. I include it to show my growth as a vidder. |
